Earth Balance Plant Butter Sticks by Earth Balance
Reliable, widely stocked stick butter for baking: King Arthur Baking's trials recommended Earth Balance's stick butter, and Big Box Vegan reports these Plant Butter Sticks are the renamed successor to the Buttery Sticks (near-identical ingredients, same 4-stick/16 oz format). Some reviewers find the flavor slightly tangy straight from the package.

Country Crock Plant Butter Sticks (Avocado Oil) by Country Crock
Top pick in Thank You Berry Much's 2026-updated vegan butter bake-off for cookies, cakes, pie crust and buttercream; the reviewer says the newer, firmer formula behaves like the discontinued Violife stick. Country Crock states all its Plant Butters are vegan.
